MTB Ability Level: Beginner to Advanced

Cady Hill is Stowe Trails Partnership premier network. It provides something for everyone from flowing green trails to technical black diamond trails. With your expert SMBA guide at the helm, we’ll tackle some of Vermont’s finest, machine-built singletrack, linking a number of fun, fast and flowy trails together in a grin-inducing, ride starting and ending at Stowe Mountain Bike Academy Base. For more advanced riders, there is opportunity to explore technical, rooty singletrack side-trails. Allow us to show you our favorite rides that will include views of Mt. Mansfield (Vermont’s Highest Peak) and the Worcester Range.

Adam’s Camp

Duration: 2hrs

MTB Ability Level: Intermediate to Advanced

The Adams Camp network is contained primarily inside the Mt. Mansfield State Forest. And while providing a backcountry feel, the trails are primarily machine built with nice flow. With your SMBA guide leading the charge, we'll kick off our adventure climbing one of Stowe’s finest, bidirectional trails, Haulapalooza, to the secluded Adam’s Camp trail network. From here, we'll explore the surrounding trails to test our technical climbing skills and descending prowess before returning on Haulapalooza. For advanced riders there is the opportunity to work on your stability and balance on the new Serenity and Adrenaline trail.

Sterling Valley

Duration: 2hrs

MTB Ability Level: High Intermediate to Advanced

Sterling Forest provides the most backcountry feel of all the Stowe Trails Partnership’s networks. Mostly made up of hand built trails, Sterling Forest also provides the closest views of Mt. Mansfield (Vermont’s Highest Peak). You’ll meet your Stowe Mountain Bike Academy guide at the back entrance to Sterling Forest before embarking on our leg-powered excursion into the depths of Stowe’s pristine wilderness to explore some of the area’s less-traveled, hidden singletrack gems! Definitely the network to experience if you want old-school roots and rocks with a fair bit of climbing.
